# Notification Settings

The notifications are designed to send information to users when critical events happen on the portal. The users can create custom notifications according to their requirements.

* **Notification Parameters**: This section allows users to create parameters for notifications like e-mail, subject, and mail content. The users can do custom designs on the parameters.

* &#x20;**Notification Setting Templates**: This section allows users to create notification templates. In the templates, the users can select notification type which means what is the behavior of the portal if something is discovered and notified. The users have to assign artifact types for parameter helpers, with which subject content can be designed accurately. After template settings are done, please assign the template by clicking on the three dots right sight of the entry and selecting "Assign to Notify Rule(s)". This action takes users to another page, on this page please select the rules that require notification, after selection please select notification setting and fill the other fields with required values. Last of all, click on the "Assign" button.

* **System E-mail Editor**: This section allows users to edit e-mail design, the users can edit e-mail contents and design according to their requirements.
